It has been an honor and privilege to serve Pine County in the Sheriff’s Office for the past 30 years. I have been entrusted to lead the office for 8 years as your Sheriff. I take that trust seriously and know that it needs to be a ​two-way relationship. We are going through unprecedented change in law enforcement and public safety, which is why we need stability in leadership. Stability does not mean resisting change, but making the right changes in the right direction at the right time. Thank you again for trusting me to be the leader of the Sheriff’s Office. I look forward to serving you for four more years.

  • ​Updated the 911 system
  • New computer aided dispatch

  • Launched a squad and body camera system
  • Added additional staffing and better law enforcement coverage
  • Re-established the K9 program and will soon have 3 K9 officers

  • Annual mental health check-ins for all staff
